Our Business Unit Pharmaceutical Systems is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of pharmaceutical primary packaging and analytical lab services. More than 600 production lines in 13 countries worldwide produce more than 10 billion syringes, vials, ampoules, cartridges, and special articles of tubing glass or polymer.

Aligned with our Growth Strategy, we are expanding our service portfolio and the related service management team. As a Product Manager SERVICES, you are responsible to initiate, setting up, promoting, and managing the lifecycle of service offerings. Your service innovations promote a hassle-free implementation and commercial application of our containment solutions in the pharmaceutical industry. The position can be located either in Mainz or St.Gallen, Switzerland (hybrid working model 3+2). Regular travel between both sites is a Must.

Your Contribution

• You take over the strategic and business development responsibility for selected service offerings and actively develop and push the service-related strategy roadmap
• You review the market for open needs/ trends and run cooperation to develop new service opportunities
• You design services and related business models including a clear description of outcome and definition of business processes
• You prepare implementation plans for future services
• You interact with sales, marketing, and customers to promote, explain and adapt service offerings
• You define goals and targets for service offerings together with service owners/ operators, review their achievements, and derive improvement concepts Your Qualifications
• Your background can be either a university degree in business innovation/ economics/engineering or you have a strong experience in pharma manufacturing or development
• You are passionate about innovation as well as the analytical skills which even help you to understand a beloved idea cannot economically fly
• Ability to listen to customers with an open mind to identify pain points and match solutions with true benefits
• Ideally: a sound understanding of digital service concepts
• Ideally: First work experience in innovation, managing cross-functional project teams or pharma industry
• Fluent communication skills in German and English language
